Additions up to SdrDx 2.14z
in 2.14z Display dialog now provides for separate settings for (S)AM, BCB (Also AM), SSB, CW, FSK and FM mouse click resolution. Default for (S)AM and FM is 5 KHz. Others are 100 Hz. Set them any way you prefer them. BCB replaces (S)AM between 530 KHz and 1700 KHz.
in 2.14y Right-clicking on AWI opens a dialog where you can set the rate of noise floor tracking.
in 2.14x AWI (Auto Waterfall Intercept) causes SdrDx to try to keep the waterfall intercept close to the same level you adjust I to set. For bands that are seeing average noise floors of S1 and above, it can usually keep the Intercept fairly close. Try it, see if you like it.
in 2.14x Support for RTL SDR server activated in prep for (hopefully) release soon by third party. In testing now, and it seems to work, so... !!!
in 2.14w SAM demodulator mode now employs optional signal-level based squelch.
in 2.14w Left-click in s bgreen on CAR scope mode places a frequency marker with both absolute and center-frequency-relative readouts. Useful to locate various carriers and heterodynes, particularly in conjunction with the new peak waveform display.
in 2.14w new peak spectrum display. Turn on and off with PKS, control rate with a right-click on AVG. Reset by pressing SPE or CAR, whichever mode you are in, again, or by turning the peak function off and on again using PKS.
in 2.14w new keystroke commands ^ g, ^ i, ^ n, and ^ O (think "gino", because I love Gino's pizza, lol) execute a command or script (default name is "ss" but you can change that with a right-click on any EX button) in your home directory with a parameter of 1, 2, 3 and 4 respectively. This gives you three different ways to start the script. In addition, the buttons EX1, EX2, EX3 and EX4 perform the same functions, so you can execute the script all four ways with the mouse as well.
in 2.14w new TCP/UDP message "metercap:0" captures meter to image "foo.png" on OS X desktop. Under windows, I'm not sure what it does yet. Is there a desktop directory in the home directory under windows?
in 2.14w new TCP/UDP message "screencap:0" captures spectrum and waterfall to image "foo.png" on OS X desktop. Under windows, I'm not sure what it does yet. Is there a desktop directory in the home directory under windows?
in 2.14w new TCP/UDP message "demodcap:0" captures a slice of spectrum and waterfall around demod position to image "foo.png" on OS X desktop. Under windows, I'm not sure what it does yet. Is there a desktop directory in the home directory under windows?
in 2.14w new TCP/UDP message "scopecap:0" captures scope to image "foo.png" on OS X desktop. Under windows, I'm not sure what it does yet. Is there a desktop directory in the home directory under windows?
in 2.14w Spectral Average AVG mode adds ability to create a slowly changing spectrum. Excellent for precisely removing heterodynes. Averaging rate can be set by right-clicking on AVG
in 2.14w New checkbox in SDR setup dialog tells SdrDx if the spectrum and waterfall display span should follow the new SDR bandwidth setting when it is increased.
in 2.14w Scope CAR mode adds display of Hz / Div in addition to span Hz
in 2.14w Euro CB band now in next/previous AR band sequence
in 2.14w Euro CB band marked and channelized in RF database
in 2.14w Euro 43m pirate haunts 6200-6450 khz marked in database
in 2.14w US 48m pirate haunts 6800-7000 khz marked in database
in 2.14w new TCP/UDP message "netsdrrate:number" accepts samplerate and sends to RFSPACE units. Don't use this unless you know what you're doing!
in 2.14w INL added to ignore newlines in incoming textmode: TCP messages. Creates a continuous wordwrap.
in 2.14w now reports TCP and UDP command errors in the new text box. This should help when you're trying to get a TCP or UDP interface working with SdrDx.
in 2.14w ^+b to set window to design rectangular size of 1280 wide by 1024 high. SdrDx is designed to work within this monitor resolution, or window resolution if you have a larger monitor.
in 2.14w added TCP command "textline:textstring", and display element to handle it.
in 2.14v Added ability to switch to and from a separated RF view using RFV.
in 2.14s Added  BACKSPACE to select scope mode from keyboard.
in 2.14s Added 2nd mode for noise blanker where the main RF scope does not get noise blanking, but the rest of the RF chain does. This prevents noise blanking from causing distortion on the visible spectrum, thus preventing visible splatter. That's the up side. The down side is that in the presence of noise, the noise is not removed from the display. So sometimes you'll want this, sometimes you won't. Clicking NBL results in NBL. A third click is NBL.
in 2.14r Added RF/t scope mode #2: RF/t trapezoid RF vs. demod audio
in 2.14r Added RF/t scope mode #1: RF/t raw RF
in 2.14p the PNG keyboard reference image has been replaced with an active page that allows re-configuration with regard to columns and is primarily organized by functionality rather than alphabetically.
in 2.14p the sound sampling system has been limited to 48 kHz (only in the Windows version of SdrDx) to prevent exceeding the bounds of the Qt implementation of Windows audio inputs. OS X audio sample rates remain unaffected.
in 2.14p S+ and S- now have a 48 kHz sample rate setting to accommodate the maximum bandwidth of the Funcube under windows. Of course you can set the Funcube to a 48 kHz sample rate under OS X, too.
in 2.14o SSP automatic noise level threshold set ( SMP ) now uses only the lowest level to set both high and low thresholds instead of highest level for high threshold.
in 2.14o Ref and  K now open a key reference on fyngyrz.com — the dialog editor was making keeping the internal reference pane up to date a real problem. This way is much easier for me, so that,s what you get.
in 2.14o ^⇑ &UARR; increase SSP threshold and ^⇑ &DARR; decrease SSP threshold.
in 2.14o The automatic threshold function now scans the accumulated information visible in the scope instead of sampling ahead. This way, you can have a decent idea what it is going to do. A side benefit is that it works instantly.
in 2.14o SPL now has no effect when scope mode CAR is selected.
in 2.14n PAL creates new default palettes. One is a rainbow, the other is monochrome.
in 2.14n SMP now alternates between setting above the signal level and below the signal level.
in 2.14n AGC has been removed.
in 2.14n the scope now always shows AGC + S in SCP mode
in 2.14n Both range and effect of I (waterfall color intercept) have been increased. Some people have very low signal levels, so this had to be done. Readjust I as required.
in 2.14m SSP gets adjustable operational zone via right-click on SSP
2.14l skipped to avoid confusion between letter "l" and numeral "1"
in 2.14k further DSP work on SSP
in 2.14k Reworked part of the AGC/S signal processing chain
in 2.14k ^⇑ &RARR; increases SSP Trigger level by one step.
in 2.14k ^⇑ &LARR; decreases SSP Trigger level by one step.
in 2.14k SSP now displays a reference line on the scope when SCP is selected.
in 2.14j SMP added to initiate SSP sampling. Right-clicking SMP brings up the control to set the precision of the threshold used by SMP -- generally a value around 10 to 15 is suggested. You,ll need to use TAB, , and to make fine adjustments.
in 2.14i ZRO now blinks during SSP sampling.
in 2.14i More development of SSP
in 2.14h More development of SSP
in 2.14h S-meter calibration moved from CAL to right-click on PEK
in 2.14h further work refining SSP DSP algorithms. Getting there.
in 2.14h Moves the trigger and aggression controls from a right-click on SSP to the main bank of sliders. I felt that you needed to get at them often enough that it was warranted.
in 2.14g Right-clicking on PEK (PEaK) accesses S-meter calibration. This function was moved from CAL and CAL was removed.
in 2.14f Improved the ring suppression code.
in 2.14f palette now disables O slider on first and last colors
in 2.14f Right-clicking on NBL (Noise Blanker) accesses blanker intensity. This function was moved from NBI and NBI was removed.
in 2.14f Right-clicking on -Ri (Ringing suppression) accesses Ring Suppression intensity.
in 2.14f Right-clicking on TDM (Time-Division Multiplex filter) accesses Comb Tooth and interval frequencies.
in 2.14e the palette editor now has numeric readouts
in 2.14e the range of the I has been increased by 50%
in 2.14a the DOW function is now a proper overlay.
as of 2.14a, threshold sensitivity for SNF has been doubled for the waterfall only.
