| I have a problem with an AM station on 1240 kHz. I'm only about 1.2 miles away, and it's so strong that it over-voltages my Andrus MK 1.5 SDR. Clifton Labs built me a tunable notch filter prototype, and bingo, it reduces the station enough so that it is no longer a problem. Nothing else is close enough within the bandwidth of my loop antenna to cause trouble. Tonight we had a lightning storm, and it knocked the local at 1240 kHz off the air; I took the opportunity to grab a screen shot of this section of the AM band without the huge local on it as it shows what the notch is actually doing quite well.
