My Dashboard
| So, I changed trucks this year — I like everything about the new one except the gas milage — and this is how the dash ended up. Ham radio + auto-tuner, GPS, CB. I have antennas for 20, 17, and 10 meters, as well as CB, AM and FM. It's a Chevy Avalanche, with an 8.1 liter (about 496ci) gas engine, 4WD, and the towing package. The interior is extremely comfortable, and the hallmark of the Avalanche is the convertible passenger space — you can either have a really nice back seat area with a short-bed pickup, or convert the vehicle into a long-bed pickup with no rear seat space.
