International Space Station (ISS) direct SSTV image reception as received on 145.800 MHz, April 13th 2018, with AFE822x HF/VHF SDR; SSTV transmission in PD120 mode — if you have SdrDx, the RF recording is approximately an 84.0 MB download (SdrDx RF recording can be downloaded here ) but don't bother if you don't have SdrDx, this is an RF recording, not an audio recording. This image was received with SdrDx and Black Cat SSTV software. I used a standard discone for the antenna, mounted at about 25 feet, fed to the VHF antenna input of the AFE822x using RG-8 cable and an appropriate adaptor. The ISS was receding into the NE where the antenna has a clear view of the sky when this image was sent, so reception was good pretty much all the way to the horizon.
