SAC Aircraft, ca. 1976...1986
| I was standing outside the fence at the end of one of the main runways at Fort Lauderdale International Airport shooting incoming aircraft (back when that wasn't likely to be interpreted as planning a crime), and this came in overhead. I saw it coming in and recognized it as a small jet, but other than that, nothing special. I picks up me Pentax and clicks away. So, just imagine my surprise when I got the photos developed and saw the Strategic Air Command XC chop on the wing. It was probably full of air force brass who would have cheerfully had me shot for taking the photo. As mentioned, shot with a Pentax 35 mm film camera; scanned in with an Epson 4870 on a Mac mini, processed with the Gimp (used levels to bring out the registry lettering somewhat and pulled a little of the yellowing out.)
