U.S.S. Missouri, BB-63

This is a metal model of a US battleship (Neptun 1300A) circa 1942, the USS Missouri, BB 63. It is 1:1250 scale, meaning that one foot of model length is equivalent to 1250 feet of the original. This model is 8.5 inches long, so the original was close to 885 feet long. A battleship like this is one of the largest types of ships, so most models in 1:1250 will be smaller, making a collection very easy to keep.
