I saw a post on Digital Photography Review that said you couldn't take a photo of a falling water droplet without a flash; I thought, "why not?" and resolved to have a go at it. I took a group, they all came out similarly, but this is the neatest looking with that water trailing above it. Well, here it is, so I guess that settles the matter. You can. 😊 Check out that narrow depth of field, too — the ƒ/1.2L 85 mm DOF is measured in fractions of an inch at ƒ/1.2 aperture. Canon EOS 40D, Canon EF 85 mm ƒ/1.2L II USM prime @ ƒ/1.2, 1/8000ths sec exposure ISO 3200. Imported with Aperture and processed for noise reduction in WinImages.
