Waterfowl Over the Fort Peck Dredge Cuts
| My very first attempt at panning to get a fast moving object with this zoom; I had the camera in Av and it didn't set the shutter speed up high enough. As soon as I saw the preview, I knew what I'd done wrong — should have had it in Tv at about 1/1000th with auto-ISO on and it would have been a lot better. There was plenty of light. The camera set the shutter speed to 500 on a panning shot that was zoomed to 400 mm... not fast enough. Oh well. Live and learn. 😊 EXIF:
