Helicopter and Load Into Sunset
| Deb and I were somewhere between Williston ND and Minot ND when we saw this. The helicopter was a tiny speck in the distance; atmospherics distort it considerably, but I like the effect of it flying off into the pastel sky... Canon EOS 40D, Hooded Canon EF 100-400 mm ƒ/4.5-5.6L IS USM zoom @ 400 mm, ISO 100, ƒ/11, 1/1000th sec. exposure, handheld, AF on IS (mode XY) on. EXIF:
