Knifehand Break of Seven Ceramic Tiles
This is a scan of a hand-tweaked print from more decades ago than I care to consider. The tiles are a very hard ceramic. If you look at the break, you can see the tiles at my right (your left) are cascading downwards towards my hand as they fly off the bricks; I lost about four square inches of skin... it was like having a huge razor scalp me. I bled like crazy. Whoops. Once the negative was developed, the print's emulsion was hand-smudged to give a feeling of motion, which came out great, all things considered. The shutter speed was high enough to freeze everything, so we were inspired to mess about. Remember, it was long ago... no image processing tools to be had.
