ISS and Docked Shuttle
What you see here: On the left, the unmodified crop. In the center, enlargement without interpolation; at the right, enlargement with bilinear interpolation. The above is the best of about 50 shots; all show basically the same thing, plus or minus some atmospheric distortion. The two things that should be visible are the ISS's solar panels, and the shuttle, docked underneath. Personally, I can't discern one from the other, but the "fish" shape on the left and the large white blob on the right are consistent in all the shots, so we're definitely seeing something repeatable and meaningful... I just don't know what it means. 😊 Just guessing, but I think about 1500mm and you'd know what you're looking at. This pass was above the local horizon @ St. Marie, MT from 7:36 PM to 7:46 PM, this particular shot was taken about 7:41 PM, aiming east at about 40° elevation. All times MST.
