But that's only part of it. It has a fabulous action, a totally straight and perfect neck, the neck and radius fit my hand perfectly (which I am absolutely willing to admit may not translate to the next person) and it has just about spot-on intonation everywhere, which is almost mystical given that bridge.

True story: I picked up a Martin D-28P, new. It was totally over-rated, mainly because it was entirely too sensitive to humidity or lack thereof — for the entire year I owned it, the neck action changed in both directions along with the ambient humidity; from strings buzzing to almost too hard to fret, that guitar was all over the place. I sold it. Meanwhile, my Yamaha FG-340? Same all-wood construction... Perfect action. Stable. Sounds awesome.
