Here's a sight we don't get to see very often... I think it's been about 15 years since the water levels in the lake were actually up to the spillway, much less that the spillway was open and running. It's been an incredibly wet winter (over 100" of snow for a region that normally gets less than 30") and spring; as I write this, it's been raining every day for about two weeks, and the NWS is predicting exactly one semi-clear day in the upcoming week.
