Fear the Mousse. Canon EOS 6D, EF 50 mm ƒ/1.4, ES71II hood: 1/800th, ƒ/4.5, ISO 100, handheld. Cropped in lightroom. I shot this as focus-and-recompose. Using center point only, I focused on some hair, then lifted the camera to look into the bright window above, and shot. So the focus is on the hair, the window is all bokeh, and the exposure sees the hair as an outline, which is pretty much how it looked to me. Worked out fine, I simply cropped for the framing I wanted. At ƒ/4.5, recompose is a doddle. EXIF:
