|This is a video game board I designed for Techstar.|
Games I wrote for this board included Rockball, It, and Cards-n-Quiz, AKA "Little Las Vegas.
The hardware incorporated 256x256 RGB output, hardware line drawing assist, dual AY-3-8910 sound chips, stereo audio amplifiers, and was capable of a full boat of 6809 RAM and/or EPROMs in any combination, with 14k of the RAM battery backed up. The video RAM was a separate system with XY/RGB/vector control ports. In addition, the board featured a hardware "kick" to make sure it didn't lose its mind, and interfacing for multiple controls as well as dedicated coin slot logic.
