Anemone
This anemone thrives where he crawled sort of wedged back between two large hunks of live rock. We set him up out in the open, but apparently, that wouldn't do. We haven't gotten a clownfish (you know, like "Nemo") to live in it because of our tube anemone, who while certainly very pretty, would quite happily eat a clownfish if it was so unwise as to try and nestle in his tentacles.It likes to eat Copepods, copious little bug-like creatures that scurry over and through our live rock. Had to use the RAW image to get any contrast amongst the tentacles, they're just a mass of white in the JPEG. Did some noise reduction and an unsharp mask to help bring them out as well, used the Gimp on my Mac mini. EXIF:
