My twin reverb; suitable for a quick jam session. Just pack it up with a guitar and I'm good to go. The guitar is an Ibanez "flying squid" carefully inlaid in "mother of plastic" that I'm rather fond of, a really exemplary example of the model both tonally and WRT feel. This particular Fender model is a tube design I bought used some years ago; I put a matched set of power tubes in it first thing (a couple of the originals were glowing a bit too purple for my taste... bias was balanced but they weren't any longer), and it's been 100% stable ever since. It's definitely got that tube sound, great for blues. It's also got a nice clean sound; that's about it, but it's enough for most jam sessions. EXIF:
