| Taken about 1 mile north of St. Marie, Montana, looking north. Surprisingly, considering the size of the solar CME that caused this, the auroral activity wasn't all that high, but there were a few nice moments like the one here. I had about an hour window from full darkness (sun 18° below the horizon) until the half-moon rose. #aurora #montana EXIF:
