If you have multiple monitors, this new capability allows you to use one for a full-screen waterfall and spectrum display, while keeping the GUI control window on another monitor. With just one monitor, you can still use the feature, but control of SdrDx has to either be by keyboard, or you have to slide the RF view out of the way of the GUI controls. Personally, I like using the keyboard. YMMV. 😊 This capture is of Radio Havana's English service on 6400 KHz, just before they went off the air for the day at 1 AM MST on the morning of September 4th, 2015. I was using 4950 Hz bandwidth (9900 Hz total.) Just tight enough to keep any stray carriers at 5 KHz intervals out of the bandpass. Sounded great. SdrDx is free software. I make versions available for both OSX (10.6.8 or later) and Windows XP or later. No nagging, no adware, etc. Just an app that makes radio fun. SdrDx can be used to operate the Andrus MK 1.5, AFEDRI, and RFSPACE network-based SDRs, both Funcube USB-based SDRs, and can be coerced with some scripting into supporting Softrock and Peaberry SDRs, and probably any other sound-card based SDR.
