After a whole lot of coding and debugging, SdrDx (beta for OSX) now adds wideband FM reception to its bag of tricks. This includes RDS decoding of station ID /callsign and programming type. Even more fun. Under OSX, I can push the funcube, an inexpensive SDR, to 200 kHz bandwidth, which neatly fits one FM station, as can be seen in this screenshot. Full 15 kHz fidelity; sounds awesome. 😊 Next spring, up goes the good FM antenna that's been sitting in my shed. We have some 150 mile-plus DX stations that can be caught with a 14 element FM beam. Should be fun!
