Comet P17/Holmes and UOO Satellite
P17 / Holmes is really fading out now... well, it sure was pretty while it lasted. The satellite was just a lucky catch - I saw it coming and shot by eye and got a good cross, but I certainly didn't plan for it, I don't even know what it is (hence the UOO designation.) On a related matter, given the lat/long, time, and which stars the satellite crossed when, does anyone know how to figure out which satellite it was? Some program or the like? I suppose I could load every satellite I could find into Stellarium... hmmm, maybe start with the space station. I think I'll do that. 😊 Now to see if I can find the details I need. EXIF:
