Royal George ca. 1919 (Navis NA 9005)
| This is a 1:1250 scale model of the 11,146 ton British passenger ship RMS Royal George (Navis NA 900S), as she appeared in 1919. Part of my 1250 scale model ship collection. The ship was 546 feet long, the model is 5.25 inches long. She was known as the "Rolling George" because of her lively ride. She was launched at Glasgow, Scotland in 1907 and originally named "Heliopolis." She was scrapped in 1922. EXIF:
