Hawk Into the Sunset
This beauty haunts an area about five miles from my home; often I find it perched on a telephone pole or a fence line, watching the fields for prey. This evening, he or she gifted me with a beautiful exit. Look at the spread feathers on the high wing; the way these creatures precisely control their flight just makes my heart sing.
