| Deb's doing some of the basement windows. This is the second of seven in total. Each window is double-paned with a 1/2 inch air gap, with the stained glass piece on the inside to protect it from the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune... and lawnmowers. Notice you can see out the bottom of the piece? That's clear pane for our cats, so they can observe the world going by outside. Also —-- this completes the west wall of the building, and the very few north-facing windows. 1/2 done (there are no windows on the northern side of the building, and the two on the north side of the spa are already done.) Just 5 more basement windows and 8 more upstairs windows. Another year at a minimum, I'd guess. [edit in 2017] "one more year" lol... the optimist in me. We just finished the remaining upstairs windows, and the basement is next. It only took eight years to do the upstairs, so perhaps we'll have the basement done by 2023... EXIF:
