It — An Arcade Game
An arcade game I designed, both hardware and software. "It" was the big spider. You drove the spaceship, controlling its altitude and left-right traverse. The ship shot horizontally; the only way to shoot the "It" was to get down between the peaks — quickly — flip if required, and shoot. That was hard. In the meantime, the It would shoot webs at you with a range of the lower half of the screen. If it hit you, you were dead. When you died, presuming you hadn't used up all your spaceships, little "it'll"s would be born from your wreckage, and the next rack would feature them coming after you as well. Also, as seen at the right, bottom left and top left above, there were various spaceships and mines that were after you, and would shoot at you. This shot was taken under OSX, with VMWare running Windows, and ReFlex running there. This game is available to play in my Flex emulation. #arcade #florida #design #mysoftware #mygame #it #6809 #reflex #techii
