| This rough-looking crew consists of neighborhood strays, all of which have been trapped, fixed, and released. We feed 'em, and you see them here on our porch chowing down. We make sure they're well fed, have accessible water (heated water dish), and shelter during the bitter winter months. Well, every other season too, but winter is the harsh time. Also, our yard is fenced now and has a cat door in the fence so they can get in and out. Before we started actively caring for them, we'd constantly see cats with half an ear, limping from frostbite and so on. Found a few frozen right in the snow, expired. Now... they're all good.
