This is my usual camera bag complement as of December 2017. Sometimes I carry a 600 mm Sigma catadioptric as well. Otherwise, this is pretty much what I roll with. I prefer prime lenses for their generally better light gathering and higher quality imaging. The Neewer bag is highly water resistant, and can be carried either as a backpack or by a conventional handle. It's very well padded, and I am comfortable literally tossing it (a few feet) in the back seat of the vehicle when I am hitting the road. My 6D is getting long in the tooth and starting to show it; the USB jack has gone nipples north, and so now I transfer all my images via WiFi in order to save the memory card connector from the same fate.
